opening night screening & watch parties

We are honored to open this year's conference with the opening night community screening of "When Does Freedom Begin," directed and produced by Linda Genereux and featuring Louis Reed of the illmatic Podcast, Tiheba Bain, founder of Women Against Mass Incarceration, and community activists Roland Whitley and Mary Valdovinos.

This free Community Screening will show in person on Monday, September 9th at 7:00 PM EST/6:00 PM CST at multiple locations nationwide, as well as virtually. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with Linda Genereux, Louis Reed, Tiheba Bain, Roland Whitley and Mary Valdovinos open to all participants.
